Treasury announced a $56 B off-cycle refunding operation for next week
Treasury announced a $56 B off-cycle refunding operation for next week, including a $24 B 3-year note (Tuesday), a $20 B 10-year reopening (Wednesday), and a $12 B 30-year bond reopening (Wednesday), all for settlement on October 17. The debt managers also outlined a $78 B 3- and 6-month offering, as well as a $40 B 4-week bill and a $20 B 52-week bill. The volumes are all unchanged from their most recent offerings. Note that with Monday's Columbus Day holiday, the $138 B in bills will all be auctioned Tuesday. Supply could add to the bearish bent in Treasuries next week.
