N.Y. FX Outlook: The dollar was mostly steady overnight, trading just under recent highs in fairly light trade. The economic calendar is heavy this morning, though activity is likely to wind down early ahead of Thursday's Thanksgiving holiday. Weekly jobless claims kick things off, which analysts expect will rise to 250k from the previous trend low of 235k. October durable orders are forecast to rise 0.4% versus the revised -0.3% previously. October new home sales should dip to a 0.590 M annual rate from 0.593 in September. The September FHFA home price index is seen rising to 239.1 from 237.9, while the final November University of Michigan consumer sentiment index is expected to improve to 92.0 from 91.6 initially.
