Futures higher to begin holiday shortened session

Stock futures are higher ahead of what is likely to be the lightest trading volume day of the year. The market is set to open at new highs in what has historically been an up day for the market, especially for retail as Black Friday typically helps put the stores in a profitable position for the year. Oil prices are down a bit over 1% and trading back near $47 per barrel. In early pre-market trading, Dow futures are 52 points above fair value, Nasdaq futures are 2 points above fair value and S&P futures are 2 points above fair value.
