Airbus seeks global pact on aircraft aid following WTO ruling, Reuters says

Airbus (EADSY) called for a global agreement to establish aerospace industry rules after the World Trade Organization partially ruled in Europe's favor regarding the long-lasting subsidy fight with Boeing (BA), Reuters says. "I continue to think that the only way out of the ridiculous series of disputes initiated by the U.S. is to agree on a set of globally applicable rules for the support of the civil aircraft industry, which would benefit both sides of the Atlantic," Airbus Group CEO Tom Enders said in an emailed statement.
