Micron February quarter estimates raised at Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley analyst Joseph Moore raised Micron's February quarter estimates and continues to see the November quarter tracking at or above the high end of guidance, and expects positive commentary out of the company this week at investor conferences. Moore expects DRAM pricing to improve in Q4 and remain at highly profitable levels in 2017. The analyst rates Micron an Overweight and raised his price target to $21 from $20.

Intel data center results bode badly for several stocks, says Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest says that Intel's (INTC) data center results and commentary were "modestly disappointing," as enterprise demand for the company's data center products was "weak," according to the firm. The firm thinks that the negative enterprise results are "modestly negative for stocks with enterprise exposure, including Micron (MU), Seagate (STX) and Western Digital (WDC)."
