Delphi CFO sees 2017 operating margins up 30-40 basis points
Speaking during the Deutsche Bank Global Auto Industry Conference earlier, Delphi CFO Joseph Massaro stated, "Turning to 2017, we want to reiterate our initial thoughts on the year ahead... Our high level views of the market and our performance expectations remain unchanged from our comments late last year. We believe global vehicle production will be flat to 2016 levels. However, with our strong portfolio of relevant technologies, Delphi will grow mid-single digit organic, driven by our faster growing product lines, active safety, infotainment, GDI and vehicle electrification -- all expected to grow strong double-digits in 2017. As always, our team remains focused on optimizing our cost structure and driving increased efficiencies throughout the organization. This relentless focus will allow us to continue to expand operating margins 30 to 40 basis points and have double-digit EPS growth when you exclude the Mechatronics divestiture."
