Futures quiet as earnings roll in

Stock futures are quiet as investors deal with an onslaught of earnings reports. Several of America's largest corporations will be releasing their quarterly results, which should give an idea as to the strength of the U.S. economy. From the economic calendar, investors will be watching the Case-Shiller home price report, the new home sales report, the Richmond Fed manufacturing data, and a reading on consumer confidence. In early pre-market trading, Dow futures are 16 points above fair value, Nasdaq futures are 1 point below fair value and S&P futures are flat.
