Futures point to lower open as oil gives back some of yesterday's gains

Stock index futures are pointing toward a lower open for the broader market as WTI crude pulls back bit from the highs achieved yesterday after reports indicated OPEC members have agreed to cut their oil production from record levels. Later this morning, the advanced goods trade balance report for August is due out at 8:30 am ET and data on pending home sales in August is due at 10 am ET. In early trading, Dow futures are 13 points below fair value, Nasdaq futures are 5 points below fair value and S&P futures are 2 points below fair value.
