Stock futures drifted lower during the pre-market trading session, leading to a lower open for the broader market,, though the averages have bounced back to be little changed in early trading. The market is coming off a two week decline and will look to get back to its winning ways during what will be a big week for earnings with 70 S&P 500 companies scheduled to report, including 12 of the 30 Dow components. So far, just 47% of the S&P 500 companies that have reported have beat sales estimates, but analysts are still predicting the best quarter for earning since 2014 with tech earnings season about to heat up. In early trading, the Dow is down 9 points, the Nasdaq is up 4 points and the S&P is down 1 point.
