Stock futures moved higher during the pre-market trading session following an interview on CNBC with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who talked tax cuts and tax code simplification. The futures action led to a higher open for the broader market, putting the Dow on course for its tenth straight day of gains. If the blue chip index stays in the green until the close, it will be the first time in two decades the Dow has been able to accomplish a streak of such a length. Oil prices are about 1% higher following last night's API inventory report. Investors will be watching today's Department of Energy inventory report, which is coming on a Thursday due to the Monday holiday, for confirmation. About 30 minutes into the session, the Dow is up 35 points, the Nasdaq is down 8 points and the S&P is up 3 points.
