Stock futures are slightly higher as investors pore over a multitude of earnings reports from last night and this morning. Wholesale inventories for March were down 0.1%, versus expectations for an increase of 0.2%. Durable goods orders were up 0.7% overall in March, versus expectations for them to be up 1.3%, while the core reading that removes transportation items was down 0.2%, versus expectations of 0.4%. In late morning pre-market trading, Dow futures are 34 points above fair value, Nasdaq futures are 9 points above fair value and S&P futures are 3 points above fair value.
