After Lumentum (LITE) announced an agreement to acquire Oclaro (OCLR), DA Davidson analyst Mark Kelleher said he thinks the deal makes strategic sense for both companies. In terms of other possible targets in the sector, Kelleher names Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI), Acacia Communications (ACIA) and NeoPhotonics (NPTN) and calls Finisar (FNSR) a logical buyer. He added that among those, he sees Applied Optoelectronics as the best asset for Finisar to purchase.
