Cowen analyst Paul Silverstein lowered his price target on Applied Optoelectronics to $25 from $53 following Q3 results, which the analyst admitted tested his conviction. He said the recent product quality issue has increased uncertainty as to the trajectory of future growth and profitability. Silverstein maintained his Outperform rating on Applied Optoelectronics shares.
