Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster said he believes the reality of an Apple Car is "increasingly likely" due to the Wall Street Journal's recent article suggesting a "ship date" of 2019, although he noted that it could be 2021-2022 before the car is sold to consumers. Munster added that the Apple Car was a long-term positive that could impact revenue, and maintained his Overweight rating and $172 price target on shares of Apple.
