Oppenheimer analyst Andrew Uerkwitz notes that Apple reports Q4 results today and says he believes the iPhone 7 cycle is performing a little better than expected due to an improving ASP trend. However, the analyst says that there is still "a high risk" of weaker than expected results in March and June of 2017 given year over year shipment decline due to waning demand for iPhone 7 and mounting anticipation for the calendar 2017 iPhone refresh. Further, Uerkwitz sees little upside from non-iPhone products such as Apple Watch, iPad, and MacBook. He reiterates a Perform rating on the shares.
