With Apple kicking off pre-order online sales for iPhone 11 on Friday, Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives says tracking of pre-order activity indicates that many iPhones are now slated for delivery 2-3 weeks after the September 20 official release date. In particular, the analyst is seeing some order strength on some variants of the 256G iPhone 11 Pro as well as Space Gray and Gold colors with certain models/carriers. With Apple planning on a launch period unit number of roughly 75M based on his Asia checks, he continues to believe "this iPhone 11 bogey is biased slightly higher" especially with the lower priced iPhone 11 base model set to hit shelves in Apple stores. He has an Outperform rating and $245 price target on the shares.
