Stifel lowered its Q2 EPS estimate for Alcoa to 20c from 24c, and cut its 2015 EPS estimate for the company to 85c from $1.21, citing lower aluminum prices and packaging price pressure. The consensus EPS estimates for Alcoa for Q2 and 2015 are 24c and 98cm, respectively. Stifel keeps a Buy rating on the stock, as the firm remains upbeat on the company's cost cutting efforts, as well as its efforts to shift its operations further downstream, and its automotive end market.
