JMP Securities analyst Jason Butler lowered his price target on Acadia to $27 from $50 to reflect what he called a "speed bump" for Nuplazid, but he said he still has confidence in the product's profile and commercial potential. Nuplazid growth has been hurt by the negative and, in his view, overstated safety concerns reported in the media, said Butler, who added that he believes trends discussed by management "support a timely return to growth." Butler keeps an Outperform rating on Acadia.
