Canaccord analyst Ryan Meliker increased the firm's premium for the valuation of on-campus assets, citing expectations for apartment investors to continue to rotate out of large cap multifamily stocks and into student housing. Accordingly, he raised his price target American Campus Communities to $56 from $49 and keeps a Buy rating on the stock.
