Canaccord analyst Ryan Meliker noted American Campus Communities reported a slight Q1 FFO miss but reiterated its full year guidance. The company also announced an accretive acquisition and five new on-campus development deals, which he believes should lead to a favorable stock reaction, although possibly tempered with the earnings miss. Meliker said the acquisition is very accretive to earnings and reiterated his Buy rating and $56 price target on American Campus Communities shares.
