Mizuho analyst Ann Hynes downgraded Acadia to Neutral despite the 25% sell-off in shares since the October 24 report. The analyst thinks census issues in the U.K. are a structural issue rated to the NHS, which reduces earnings visibility. Hynes believes Acadia need to go private to fix the issues and get away from public scrutiny, especially following management stock sales in August. However, the analyst believes going private could be difficult given the current debt to EBITDA leverage ratio.
