After Bloomberg reported earlier that Aecom was said to have canceled from conferences being hosted by Barclays and Citi, Baird analyst Andrew Wittmann said it has been confirmed that Aecom canceled from the Citi conference and will not be in attendance at the Barclays event. He also noted that prior reports, which views as credible, said that Aecom had been approached by Canada's WSP about a potential deal. The conference cancellation report is being viewed as a positive indication that Aecom might be in later-stage deal negotiations, according to Wittmann, who keeps an Outperform rating and $57 price target on Aecom shares.
