After Infosys' (INFY) CEO saidthe old IT services model is dying, Wells Fargo says that that IT outsourcing companies are being hurt by commoditization of IT work. Wells says that, in order to capture higher level opportunities, the It outsourcers must hire employees who are much more knowledgeable about end markets and IT, and better able to interface with clients. According to Wells, Accenture (ACN)is the only II outsourcer to accomplish this goal. Other "India-centric" providers will see their margins increasingly come under pressure as they try to catch up, the firm stated. India-based IT outsourcing companies include Infosys, Cognizant (CTSH), and Wipro (WIT).
