After Analog Devices (ADI) agreed to buy Linear Technology (LLTC), Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg says that the companies will combine to create "a formidable high-performance analog powerhouse with leading market share positions in all major analog semis segments and strong presence across key major markets." The analyst calls the companies "a well-matched pair," and it keeps a Buy rating on Analog Devices.
