JPMorgan analyst Sterling Auty downgraded Autodesk to Neutral and lowered his price target for the shares to $155 from $175. Investors consider Autodesk one of the more cyclical software companies, Auty tells investors in a research note. The downgrade reflects his thesis to become less cyclical in his Overweight rated stocks for 2019. However, the analyst says he may reevaluate his stance on Autodesk if intellectual property protection that appears enforceable is part of the China trade agreement.
