RBC Capital analyst Stephen Walker says Agnico Eagle should meet investors' expectations in its Q1 earnings, even though the quarter is typically the weakest of the year and considering the winter weather impact this year. Walker notes that the market reaction to the numbers should be "relatively neutral", with much of the investor focus concentrating on the 2018 outlook for production and costs. The analyst keeps his Sector Perform rating and $49 price target on Agnico Eagle.
