BofA/Merrill analsyt Stephen Albert downgraded American Eagle to Neutral and lowered its price target to $15 from $21 following the Q4 report citing disappointing Q1 comp guidance. The analyst thinks sales growth could come at the expense of margins as management expressed it would increase promotional activity during the quarter to grab share amid a competitive retail environment.
