Jefferies analyst Anthony Crowdell raised his price target for American Electric Power to $75 saying the company could net approximately $2B from a sale of its Genco assets. The proceeds could make up the earnings shortfall from the loss of Genco earnings, Crowdell tells investors in a research note. The analyst believes the stock is trading at discounted levels and keeps a Buy rating on the name.
