After Akamai (AKAM) reported that its traffic sank 21% year-over-year last month, KeyBanc says the data point indicates that the improvement in the company's media traffic will probably be "gradual" in 2H16. The firm says that Akamai's CDN customers, excluding its two largest revenue producers, may be growing as quickly as the sector. It adds that recent announcements by Microsoft (MSFT) and NBC indicate that not all large companies are embracing do it yourself CDN. The firm keeps a $71 price target and Overweight rating on Akamai.
