The analyst says that the presentation highlighted the company's opportunity as its Edge Cloud and IoT Edge Connect position it for the "proliferation of IoT devices and for 5G." Jaluria adds that among his key takeaways for Akamai's event is also a greater appreciation for its opportunity with over-the-top streaming and gaming sectors along with its security business potential over the longer term.
