Guggenheim analyst Robert Gutman upgraded Akamai Technologies to Buy from Neutral with a $98 price target. The analyst believes the company's traffic trends remained strong in Q4 and that it remains well positioned in 2020. Q4 benefited from seasonally strong online holiday shopping traffic, while over-the-top trends remained favorable, and security sales showed momentum through the year, Gutman tells investors in a research note. Going forward, he believes media and carrier traffic will be supported by the summer Olympics and the Presidential election in 2020 and ongoing over-the-top product launches. Further, Akamai's Web Division is performing well, contends Gutman.
