Nomura Instinet analyst Aleksey Yefremov raised his price target for Albemarle to $146 after the company said Friday it developed a technology that could allow the company to produce as much as 125ktpa lithium carbonate equivalent in Chile in the early 2020s.This suggests a 45ktpa increase versus current plans of 80ktpa capacity in 2020, the analyst points out. He keeps a Buy rating on Albemarle. His new price target reflects prospects for additional volume growth from the new technology.
