UBS believes Alaska Air (ALK) shares are oversold due to synergy target concerns regarding its acquisition of Virgin America (VA). The firm expects to see multiple expansion as PRASM trends begin to look more like the rest of the industry. UBS lowered its estimates and price target on the back of the recent fuel price move and the higher leverage and lower cash return to shareholders due to its Virgin America deal. UBS lowered its price target to $74 from $87 on Alaska Air shares while reiterating its Buy rating.
