Canaccord raised its price target on Alere to $56 from $50 citing the company's recent actions to accelerate asset divestitures and pay down debt. The firm also has increased confidence in Alere's management team, including the appointment of its new CFO. Canaccord reiterated its Buy rating on Alere shares.
