BTIG analyst Dane Leone upgraded Alere (ALR) to Buy with a $48 price target citing increased financial clarity with the 10-K filing. Leone said the 10-K helped to alleviate concerns that material deficiencies exist with the current financial model and is more comfortable with forecasts, and with the $56 price stated within the Abbott (ABT) merger agreement.
