After analyzing the potential impact of electric drivetrains on Allison Transmission's long-term cash flow, Piper Jaffray analyst Alexander Potter cut his price target on the shares to $25 and reiterates an Underweight rating on the name. Electrification represents a "secular threat," with near/medium-term disruption in bus and refuse markets likely to eventually spread to all of Allison's targeted segments, Potter tells investors in a research note. He thinks the company's market share will fall by roughly half by the mid-2020s.
