After speaking to management, Piper Jaffray analyst Joshua Schimmer says the whistleblower case that delayed Alexion's quarterly filing looks "very benign." The investigation being handled by the Audit and Finance Committee has thus far found no cases of improper behavior, Schimmer tells investors in a research note. The analyst still views Alexion as a top large cap pick and reiterates an Overweight rating on the shares.
