Evercore ISI analyst CJ Muse said that while he does expect a near-term pause for Lam Research (LRCX) and thinks sentiment could be a headwind for the stock, he sees no risk to consensus estimates for peers including Applied Materials (AMAT), ASML (ASML) and KLA-Tencor (KLAC). In particular, he sees the selloff in Applied Materials as a "clear buying opportunity" and would be adding to positions today, Muse tells investors.
