After conducting checks on GoPro (GPRO), Pacific Crest raised its estimates for Ambarella (AMBA) and increased its price target on the name to $78 from $76. The firm says that Ambarella's stock has risen on optimism about the outlook for Xiaomi's Yi action camera targeted at the Chinese market. Pacific Crest adds that early data points for Yi are positive, but that it is too early to determine whether the product will be successful, although retailers are selling the product for prices 40%-50% above the listed price. Pacific Crest remains upbeat on Ambarella and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares.
