Needham analyst N. Quinn Bolton expects Ambarella's Q2 results to come in "near the high end of its guidance." Bolton expects the company to benefit from significant reductions in GoPro's inventory and strong orders of GoPro's HERO 5 camera. However, the analyst says that Ambarella's results could be hurt by shortages of Sony's (SNE) CMOS image sensors, and he keeps a Hold rating on Ambarella.
