As previously reported, MKM Partners upgraded AMD to Buy from Neutral. Analyst Ian Ing said the announced China server joint venture with THATIC can become a serious server chip contender and dramatically increases the potential to take share in the attractive $12B-$14B server chip market. The analyst raised his price target on AMD to $4 from $2.90 on shares.
