Despite all the worries on cyrptocurrency weakness, AMD reported a better than consensus March quarter and guided Q2 10% above consensus with gross margins 100 basis points above consensus, Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh tells investors in a post-earnings research note. He believes AMD could see a "relief rally," but notes the focus could continue to be on the pace of EPYC ramps. The analyst maintains a Buy rating on AMD shares with a $17 price target.
