As previously reported, Morgan Stanley upgraded Ameriprise to Overweight from Equal Weight. The firm said concerns over new fiduciary rules for retirement accounts are overblown and creates a compelling buying opportunity. Morgan Stanley does not believe the rule will be disruptive to Ameriprise's fundamentals and reduced its compliance costs estimate. Price target is $152.
