Credit Suisse analyst Thomas Gallagher upgraded Ameriprise to Outperform and named it a top idea in the sector. Gallagher views Ameriprise's valuation as compelling versus peer given its sizable excess capital position and lack of impact from DOL regulatory issues. The analyst has a $67 price target on Amerprise shares.
