Citi analyst Michael Rollins upgraded American Tower to Buy from Neutral and maintained a $280 price target. Rollins expects leasing growth to improve "significantly" in 2021 from a combination of increased domestic activity and positive contributions from the international portfolio following a "trough year" of organic growth in 2020. The analyst also views tower stocks as the most "defensive sub-sector" in the group given generally non-cyclical demand characteristics.
