Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. AutoNation (AN) downgraded to Sell at Goldman by analyst Patrick Archambault, who cited his concerns about peak seasonally adjusted annual rate vehicle sales and worsening margins for both new and used cars. 2. Boston Beer (SAM) downgraded to Underperform at CLSA with analyst Caroline Levy saying cider sales, Lager and seasonals are expected to decline in 2016 due to increased competition. 3. U.S. Bancorp (USB) downgraded to Equal Weight at Stephens by analyst Terry McEvoy, who said he now sees better value in banks more leveraged to the general economy and the ultimate increase in rates than U.S. Bank. 4. comScore (SCOR) downgraded to Neutral at Macquarie following news that the company delayed its 10-K filing. The company is also suspending its share buyback and postponing its investor day. 5. Actuant (ATU) downgraded to Neutral at SunTrust by analyst Charles Brady following reduced Q2 guidance. DA Davidson lowered the firm's price target on U.S. Bancorp to $44 from $45 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares after its Q1 results and a cut to its net interest income outlook. The revision is driven by the slower than anticipated relief on deposit migration and deposit costs owing to "higher for longer" interest rates, though the company remains optimistic as loan pipelines are strengthened and sees some period-end loan momentum for U.S. Bancorp, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
