Wells Fargo analyst Jess Lubert said checks indicate the USPTO patent and appeal board invalidated Cisco's '577 patent, which is one of two patents Arista was found to have violated. The analyst has so far been unable to confirm the the findings regarding the '577 patent with Arista and said it is unclear if the USPTO has issued a ruling regarding the '668 patent, which is also being reviewed. Lubert views the USPTO's '577 patent findings as a positive development for Arista which is Outperform rated with a $150 price target.
