After Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) hired two new brand presidents, SunTrust notes that one came from L Brands' (LB) Victoria's Secret, while the other one most recently worked at Target (TGT). The firm says that "both have significant retail leadership experience," and it calls the hirings "impressive." SunTrust adds that its recent checks of Abercrombie & Fitch stores have also been impressive. It keeps a $35 price target and Buy rating on the shares.

Target (TGT) will limit self-checkout to 10 items, claiming the move will improve the customer experience and speed up the process, New York Post's Matthew Sedacca reports. The retailer joins dozens of other retail chains, including rival Walmart (WMT), that have limited or removed self-checkout kiosks amid complaints about clunky technology and concerns about rising theft.
