Leerink says a Cigna (CI) acquisition by Anthem (ANTM) is "much more probable" following Aetna's (AET) buyout of Humana (HUM). The firm believes the Aetna, Humana merger creates a "diversified national Commercial and Medicare powerhouse." It expects the deal to close with some divestitures and raised its price target for Aetna shares to $160. Leerink thinks Anthem will raise its offer price for Cigna along with some governance concessions.
