Leerink analyst Ana Gupte raised her price target for Anthem (ANTM) to $195 from $190 after meeting with management. Gupte believes 2016 consensus EPS of $10.90 and stand-alone 2018 EPS of $14 are both achievable. Cigna Corporation (CI) transaction is on track for close by the second half of 2016 as Anthem enjoys 7 State approvals and productive dialog with the Department of Justice, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Gupte reiterates an Outperform rating on the stock.
